today i will conduct the first of many FREE fantasy football symposiums. to all who play you might get something out of this. to all those who don't play, you need to start. with my help you might win the damn thing in your first season (something i actually did 2 years ago). then, last year i went 10-1 in the reg season behind tom brady and braylon edwards, dominated the first playoff game, had a big lead in the championship game and lost it when my opponents nate effing burleson had 3 td's and like 150 yards just in the second half of the last game of the year. i lost the championship by one point.
im just gonna start by dropping some ideas.
if you have the seventh-tenth overall pick jump on marion barber (should be a top five rb pick - lt, ap, westbrook, addai go ahead of him).
other rb's i like ( meaning they will have better fantasy seasons than last year):
willie parker- will get same amount of carries but will see endzone more (2 rsh td last year)
jj arrington- edge is like 93 in rb years, jj is coming in to his prime.
michael turner -finally starting and on a team without great passing game = 20 carries/gm.
thomas jones - obvious o-line improvements will get jones to paydirt more than once .
youngns' about to step up:
matt forte(chi) - 2nd rounder will get bulk of carries if he can stay away from boats & booze.
chris perry(cin)- officially 3rd on depth chart but rudi is wrinkled and hes better than k.watson.
kevin smith(det)- looks like starter for now, underrated o-line , big wr's will spread field.
brandon jackson- will end up at least splitting carries with ryan grant
and finally my #1 surprise of the year.......: CHRIS JOHNSON -TEN.
simply put, the fastest guy in the nfl.
say the opposite for ryan grant. he will produce nowhere near what he did last year(game average-not season total).
other dudes to drop off: jamal lewis, fred taylor, warrick dunn.
