and as for your running commentary
forget the fact that A-roid will be back in may, so there goes your chemistry theory, but of course the Yanks don't have problems like injuries or age catching up or things like underproduction.

what i meant to say, but couldnt in that tiny space, was that arod will be injured the whole year with the recurring hip problem and other injuries and the team will rally around each other instead of relying on hip-rod. and that is the reason they win the most games and joey g gets the credit. cc sabathia is not a stretch to win cy young.
nobody is a bigger self-hating yankee fan than me but this a-rod injury is giving me hope we can get back to glory days.
(the cynical self-aggrandizing all makes sense once you realize it roots from a negative not a positive position)
